Doing more than we should – it’s fun!

Sonia had been in email contact with us before they arrived in Turks and Caicos and had already “traded up” from a basic photo shoot at the resort to a shoot at a more remote and private beach.
While the beach in front of most of the resorts in Turks and Caicos cannot be described as “busy”, using one of our “secret” locations always adds a little extra something.
However chatting with them I discovered that they had not really had a chance to “see” the island so far – so we made a plan to add in some “local “attractions along the way – we call this our “Island Escape”. Now don’t tell anyone I did this because we are supposed to charge more for this!

Last week it was wonderful to meet Gus and Brittany who were taking a few days off at the wonderful Grace Bay Estates to celebrate their upcoming new baby.
Lydia and James Perry came to the Turks & Caicos to celebrate their wedding anniversary and for such a special occasion they decided to do a beach photo session with us.
The first love is never forgotten… they were high-school sweethearts, then college lovers and finally husband and wife. What a beautiful couple Jennifer and Tom make!
Learning is a fundamental part of Tropical Imaging. It’s part of our DNA. We love new techniques, new ideas, new ways of doing things whether it’s in Photoshop, with the camera or on a bigger scale using multimedia and movies to tell your story. Aside from the technical “how can we do it better” side of the company we also have the marketing and “business side” and I recently went to the Cayman Islands to attend engage09 – a small but powerful wedding conference with some of the top people in the industry. What did I learn? Who did I see and meet?
Wednesday morning: “Can you cover a wedding on Friday?”
It’s that time of year again. Wow how fast it comes around. We were delighted to get a call from Sonia who wanted to capture this special moment with a shoot for her daughter Richea. With a gorgeous suite at the Grace Bay Club Estates as a backdrop it was a simple pleasure to help.
