Sunday with the Ward Family at Le Vele

Last Sunday morning I drove over to Le Vele to shoot a session with the Ward family, on vacation from Charlotte, North Carolina.

The weather was not exactly typical Turks & Caicos sunshine - Tropical Storm Noel was passing by about 150 miles to the west of us so it was windy and the skies were grey.

But the dramatic weather made for some soft, flattering light, and some impressive skies as a backdrop to our session!

We began with some photos around the resort, and then headed for the beach. You can see for yourself what the day was like! We couldn’t reschedule as we normally would, since the Wards were heading home the next day. So we made the best of it - everyone had a smile on their face despite the gale, and I think we got some cool photos!
