Little Red Dress

We do shoot a lot of weddings and naturally 99% of brides do wear the traditional white dress. It looks awesome against the blue sky and blue ocean. However a few weeks ago whilst we were helping at a very upscale local charity event at the Regent Palms, one of the main organizers Foluso was wearing a fabulous red dress. Would she like to do a photo shoot ? We’ve known Foluso for many years and luckily she agreed to help - we are so glad she did!!

There was no specific goal for the shoot. It was just pure fun, something a little different from the norm. We knew that the bright color and the elegance would contrast against the ocean and informality of the beach. It was also great that Shameka from the Grace Bay Club had arranged for us to have access to a fabulous suite and the grounds of the resort.

What you cannot tell from these pictures is that it was a Friday afternoon, Foluso was running a bit late from work and hair and makeup AND was also running a fever…..

It still puzzles me after ten years, but just before sunset is the best time to be on the beach, but there was no one in sight…..

A really big, big thank you to Foluso for helping us with this fun shoot and to Shameka as well.

Maybe we should offer this as a new service or an option for a shoot after the wedding??
