Wedfog – wedding photography demystified

Posted by Chris Mann

wedfog150.jpgWedfog? What’s that, I hear you ask? Well basically it’s a new website that aims to help future brides and grooms plan their wedding, and especially their photography more easily and successfully. The name “Wedfog” is short for “Wedding Photographer’s Directory”, but it’s also named  that way because the site aims to “clear away the fog” that can surround the whole business of finding a photographer for your wedding. Appreciation for an album

Posted by Chris Mann

morin_273_150.jpgWe always like to hear from our clients and find out what they like (or even don’t like) about our work – and we do get lots of feedback about the photographs themselves.

But despite the fact that we design over 100 albums a year for our clients, we don’t so often get comments from them about the album itself.

So it was especially nice to hear from Lydia and Garth about their album which they received recently. Read the rest of this entry »

swimming-pool or beach ?

Posted by David Gallardo

barker_031small.jpgMost of our portrait sessions are normally in the afternoon an hour before sunset and in most cases families request photos on the beach.

But last week Kellie and I had the opportunity to do a split photo session with the Barker family. The first one was in the morning while they were playing at the swimming-pool of the Somerset and the second part was in the afternoon around the hotel and the beach – ending with a great sunset. Irish Luck

Posted by Ileana Ravasio

selver_040.jpgHaving a relative living in the Turks and Caicos Islands has its great advantages… you HAVE TO pay them a visit sooner or later!

The Kivlehan Family combined the Easter and St Patrick’s Day festivities to wave Ireland goodbye and fly to the Caribbean to visit Sis / Auntie Trish and her husband Curtis.

Shernelle and her two cute men!

Posted by Andy Mann

capron_frnt.jpgOn Saturday Shernelle and Brook came by our studio next to Grace Bay to shoot a quick engagement session. We are delighted that we will be helping Brook and Sherenelle with their wedding in August. It was an added bonus when “little Brook” or rather Brook Jnr also came along – too cute.

As it was the Saturday before Easter Sunday and the beach was full to overflowing we kept away from the main resorts and just shot an easy, relaxed and fun shoot right outside our studio. Read the rest of this entry »

Welcome back!

Posted by Ileana Ravasio

wildharber_077.jpgGrandma Lolly decided to hire Tropical Imaging 3 years ago to capture some beautiful family pictures during her special birthday trip. They had a blast on island and decided to turn this unique trip into a family tradition and come back each year!

It’s a real treat to see the kids growing and becoming every year more beautiful, and it’s very touching and satisfying to reconnect with the adults.

Traveling thousands of miles to see your family

Posted by Anita Marcus

first-photo2.jpgI met Jenny for the first time at the dock in Parrot Cay where she was waiting with her dad for the boat back to Provo.

Jenny works as the Villa Manager for the beautiful Amanyara Resort. Her dad, who is 82 years old, came all the way from the Philippines to see his daughter.

I noticed right away the love and friendship between the two of them. Two days later I went over to Amanyara to capture this very special time for both of them. Read the rest of this entry »

After showing them a few photos straight from the camera they immediately got into the session and started challenging each other- this makes my job very easy! Read the rest of this entry »
