Zadie’s 70th Birthday

Jill contacted me because the whole family, 40 of them, were coming down to the Turks and Caicos Islands to celebrate Zadie’s Birthday.
Not just for one day, they were partying for 3 days and we were the lucky ones to celebrate it with them. They started off with a BBQ near the pool at the beautiful Regent Palms Hotel and WOW! this family knows how to party. They are also not camera shy, perfect for us.
The next day everybody went out on a boat trip with Caribbean Cruisin. They do a great job showing everybody reefs for snorkeling. Then to Little Water Cay with the Rock Iguanas and off to do some conch-hunting in the shallows. We visited Fort George where the sand dollars are right there in the water and the captain prepared a fresh conch salad on the beach. It can’t taste any better than that. That night they all had dinner at the Regent Palms and we showed them our slideshow with music of these amazing days. Zadie got his second birthday cake that week and the dance floor got crowded. David, Kellie and myself want to thank you for letting us be a part of all these fun filled days. You are one amazing family!
Spending time with your family is priceless!

Some were pretty good at limbo.

Some not so good.

Let’s just make fun of everybody.

This is what fish see under water, if you don’t see any fish, you know why.

Attempt at a group shot under water.

And splash!

Just a view from the boat: the amazing Turks and Caicos Islands

Looking for sand dollars at Fort George.

Trying to build a pyramid on Zadie’s back.

This family has no fun whatsoever!

Party like a rock star.

Too much excitement these last few days. For all of us. What a week!
