Maria and Mark

Posted by Ileana Ravasio Posted in Weddings |

Some people have the power to silently enter your life and leave a special mark that will last forever… I met Maria and Mark over a year ago and finally, last Saturday, I had the opportunity to capture this amazing couple’s wedding.

The ceremony took place on the beach in front of Royal West Indies Resort under a Caribbean palm-leafs arch and every details was pure perfection. Only the closest family and friends joined the celebration, making the event intimate and unforgettable.

Maria looked absolutely stunning on her wedding dress

The sky couldn’t look any better - a blessing from above!

Let’s get sexy

The delicious dinner took place at Coco Bistro. Located inside a coconut plantation this restaurant is absolutely stunning

The Island Boys entertained everybody during the reception at Mango Reef. I love this shots of Mark’s parents - so romantic!

The newly-wed are passionate about sailing - a shot in the “ocean” was a must

I would like to thank Maria, Mark and all their guests for making me feeling a real friend.

April 10th 2008 - I’ve been asked by a couple of brides about the picture attached to the bride’s bouquet: Maria wanted her dad to walk her down the aisle and be part of the wedding… the idea was super sweet and touching. This is candid shot taken during the ceremony:

Maria - I just wanted to say thank you for giving me the wonderful idea to wrap a picture of my late mother in with my bouquet! I met you during the set-up of your rehearsal dinner (future bride w/Estelle) tent and you had asked Estelle to do that for you. Again thanks for the great tip and you really did look stunning!! Congrats!
