On June 7th Debbie and Fudge got married. This was not a destination wedding because they both live with their families here in the Turks and Caicos Islands. So this wedding was a little larger than the ones we photograph most of the time, over 200 people attended the wedding. The Church of God of Prophecy was packed with family and friends.
What a lovely blend of traditions, cultures and religions I witnessed during Tristin and Samir’s weddings! The couple celebrated their union twice, bringing to the Turks and Caicos the fantastic colors and flavors of India, as well as the elegance of the traditional American ceremony.
Gone are the days when people thought 20 prints could fairly describe their wedding! Nothing can keep those precious memories alive like a stunning album with every important moment… Merili and Jamal knew this secret and shared with us 4 magical events: their boat trip, rehearsal dinner, fashion shoot and, of course, their wedding.
I was plant shopping at the local nursery when Ginny, the mother of a future bride of mine, approached me: “I want to give a special gift to my husband for our 25th anniversary…”. She had the wonderful idea (not crazy at all even though she doubted it!) to take some sexy, elegant, naked images at sunset and decorate the master bedroom with the best one.
Allison and Tom are getting married in Turks & Caicos next year – and like many of our clients they came for a visit ahead of time to check out venues and talk to service providers like ourselves about their plans.
Photography and videography are not the only passions we have at Tropical Imaging, we really enjoy meeting people too and capturing their special occasions, and this is what I did this past Monday with Rishel and Keagan Kerr who got married under a perfect clear blue sky next to the
As you saw from part one – we work around it, we get creative, if really lucky we have people like Jason who are happy to play in the rain! Under special circumstances we can also come back the next day – which is what we offered to do for Shanny, Jason and the rest of their birthday party crew…..glad we did!
