What a lovely blend of traditions, cultures and religions I witnessed during Tristin and Samir’s weddings! The couple celebrated their union twice, bringing to the Turks and Caicos the fantastic colors and flavors of India, as well as the elegance of the traditional American ceremony.
The Hindu ceremony took place in the penthouse terrace of Grace Bay Club: saris and jewelries, almonds, cookies, fire and rice – the details and symbols were wonderful.
Capturing the ritual of dressing a bride was a magnificent experience and the results were stunning: Tristin looked like a real Indian Princess!
The reception followed at the Somerset resort, where chef Lauren (at O’Soleil) put all her expertise in place to offer everybody a traditional Indian dinner.
The setting of the second ceremony was the unique Grace Bay beach – once again Tristin and Samir didn’t hold back on details and surprises.
Tristin mentioned she would be ready to do everything all over again… me too!
