Eric and Melissa - the movie!

Back in April this year Ileana and David shot the wedding of Melissa & Eric Peel - you can see their wedding photos here and their beach “Fashion Shoot” here.

Now we’re featuring the short version of their wedding movie.

It’s taken longer to get online than the stills partly because we’ve been developing a new style of wedding movie production, in which we feature the words and feelings of the couple themselves much more than usual, and that has required some extra post-production work.

Our new approach to “wedding videos” is to try to concentrate on the elements that make a movie memorable - telling moments, voices, the flow of the story, and match that with stills and music into a piece that’s under ten minutes. We will still include a full length edit of the ceremony and other events on the DVD as extras of course. But the signature piece is kept deliberately short and very focused on the couple themselves. It’s a way of shooting and editing that we’re still refining, but we feel it makes for a piece that stands up much better to repeat viewing than the regular ‘wedding video”. See what you think…
