Ansel and Helen at Amanyara

One of our local pastors who officiates at many of the weddings we shoot has a nice phrase that he uses about storms and bad weather - “the storm don’t come to last, it come to pass”.

And that was just what happened on Thursday last week - heavy rain for most of the day (at the western end of the island at least) was followed by a brightening sky as I drove to Amanyara to meet Ansel and Helen from Greenville South Carolina…

Ansel and Helen were on their honeymoon and we scheduled a photo session with them as part of their Amanyara vacation package. It was quite hot and humid (August can be like that!) so as usual we did some shooting around the resort before finishing up on the beach. Helen and Ansel coped with the hot conditions with great good humor and the session was a lot of fun!
