As part of our ongoing pursuit of getting better at what we do we are surveying all our recent clients to see how we did and to get feedback from them on how we might do better. So far we’ve contacted many of our wedding couples from earlier this year, later this week we’ll be in touch with our portrait clients.

On September 24th I met with Kathy and Brian at the Seven Stars to photograph their very special 20th wedding anniversary. The plan was to take some photos around the beautiful property and some at the Grace Bay beach, and it worked perfectly! Aysha and Dan Doman’s wedding is finally on the blog! I apologize to all of you that have been patiently waiting for this article… This stunning event took place at The Regent Palms Providenciales on August 23rd 2008. The couple and their guests were simply wonderful and we had a great time capturing the official beginning of their life together.

About a month ago we went to Grand Turk to photograph one of the most charming hotels in the Turks & Caicos Islands. Osprey Beach hotel is not a big resort like the ones you can find in Providenciales, it has 27 beach-front rooms and it is located on the famous Front Street, just few feet away from the beautiful turquoise water of Columbus Passage.The hotel is run by Jenny and her very friendly staff. Photographing food is always very interesting and fun too and so that is what we did last week at the O’Soleil Restaurant located at the Somerset. After a few minutes meeting with Lauren the chef, she started to bring some of the main dishes, it really makes you very hungry seeing all this incredible food just a few inches away from your camera. The other fabulous wedding that I did last month was for Brook and Shernelle. A wonderful couple from the TCI, they had a gorgeous wedding with around 400 people….For us it’s a great contrast to the many smaller destination weddings that we do that are typically 40-75 people.

Finally, after two hurricanes, a trip to the UK, USA and vacations I can now finally post two great weddings we did last month. The power is back on! The internet is now back on!
This wedding was at the Somerset Resort. Kelly and Dion had planned a really special wedding, lots of great details, a wonderful group of friends and family. It turned out just “perfect”.
