Catherine and Chris at Amanyara

Catherine and Chris live in Florida, but were married just a week ago back home in North Carolina – and came to the Amanyara Resort at NorthWest Point for their honeymoon.

The Amanyara romantic package includes a Tropical Imaging portrait session, so on Friday I drove up to Amanyara to shoot their pictures…

As usual we started the shoot about an hour before sunset, beginning in shaded areas taking pictures using the amazing architecture of the resort as a backdrop, before heading to the beach as the sun went down.

Since I knew that Catherine and Chris would have plenty of formal pictures from their wedding, I wanted to make this session very casual and relaxed. As you can see, they didn’t have a problem with just chilling out and having fun!
