After a few days of enjoying the island with family and friends and making some final preparations for the wedding, Kimberly and Chris’s very special day finally arrived on November 14th 2008. Blue sky, calm turquoise water and 18 family and friends to join you, that’s all it took to create an absolutely fabulous wedding week!
Laurie, Shawn and their family started their day with Sail Provo for a little rest, relaxation and snorkeling, then by the afternoon they were up and at it with photos and final wedding preparations. You might remember Jenny from a previous photo shoot that I put on the blog in March this year. Her dad came to see her from the Philippines. This time her boyfriend Samuel came to see her on the island and I did a photo shoot with the two of them. I hope they can see each other as much as possible living in different countries. Meeting wonderful people and capturing their special day is the best part of our job – that’s why we love it! Jen and John gave us a sweet reminder of it during their wedding, which took place last Saturday, November 22nd, at The Somerset Resort.
Almost 70 guests took a plane to the Turks and Caicos to celebrate the union of this beautiful couple and everybody had a great time. Kellie and I were truly grateful for the appreciation and time that Jen and John gave us on their wedding day – a few extra, relaxed minutes made a big difference. I’m sure in 50 years to come they will look at their images and never regret the drink they missed during the cocktail party because they were on the beach with us!
