Will you marry me?

goyal_088choc“Once upon a time a beautiful girl woke up to an invitation to the Turks and Caicos Islands. A diamond ring and a sweet wedding proposal were waiting for her…”.

Sounds like a fairy-tale, doesn’t it? Charming Nitin made Rachna’s dream a reality, organizing everything to perfection: the reservation at The Somerset resort, the dinner on the beach, the Tiffany box, the romantic letter and Tropical Imaging to capture the magic of this memorable moment.

Charlene & Gabby

Posted by Kellie Hayes

Last Saturday I met up with Charlene and Gabby ( her furry child) for a photo shoot. Charlene is a manager at the Amanyara Resort, where we are often found taking photos for weddings and portrait sessions so she is familiar with our work. We decided on a time and day and we chose to take some photos at Leeward so we would have the beach to ourselves and the pup could run and play. Read the rest of this entry »

So girly!

Posted by Ileana Ravasio

thomas_114Last September Hurricane Ike damaged Grand Turk and destroyed plenty of precious souvenirs – among those there were Yvonne’s beautiful wall pictures so she decided to treat her girls to a trip to Providenciales and a fun photo shoot.

I could not have asked for  better subjects: cute, playful, funny and trained to pose like Vogue models!

It’s in the mail!

December 13th became a very special day for Jennifer and John. Mail was sent, bags were packed and flights were booked, the only thing left was the ceremony, no problem! Jen & John sent out announcement cards to family and friends and had planned, hoped they would arrive on December 13th, just in time to send out great thoughts, good vibes and lots of love for the Bride and Groom. Was anyone surprised?

The celebration was held at 4:00pm at the end of the boardwalk of the Seven Stars hotel here on Grace Bay. Most of the staff that assisted them in planning their wedding looked on with smiles as Pastor Padmore officiated the ceremony for the beautiful couple. Read the rest of this entry »

Lainy and David got married.

Posted by Anita Marcus

schroeder-145bwwfirstWhen I met Lainy and David they told me that they put a few extra days onto their vacation so they could get married here in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

What a great couple! They were all about having fun and you could see that they were very much in love with one another. I absolutely loved David’s hat and Lainy looked stunning on her wedding day. Her dress was very flowy and all the different colors made her outfit so cheerful and fun just like her. They got married on the beach right in front of the Point Grace Resort.

We can’t get enough of the Turks and Caicos Islands!

Posted by Anita Marcus

krisky08-193firstThe Krisky Family visits our islands every year, they absolutely love it here. They bring different families with them each time as well. Grandparents, sisters and this time their nanny with her husband. The first time they called us to do a family portrait with them was in 2005 and we have taken photos with them every year. We have seen their family with  kids not even been born yet 4 years ago, to their kids growing, changing teeth, and everything.  Now they have six beautiful children.

Just the two of us.

Posted by David Gallardo

gunn_158_smallThe first time I met Jennifer and Will was three days before their wedding day and I already knew that it was going to be great to work with both of them.

This was a very small wedding with just the bride and groom and a very fun couple that attended as witnesses who they had just met a few days before at the Regent Palms. The ceremony took place on Grace Bay beach on a hot afternoon where the ocean was “flat as glass”.

Jennifer and Will had been together for a few years and decided to look for a quiet location to get married just with the two of them, and that’s when they found out about the Turks & Caicos Islands.

Bradey & Rob’s Wedding Day

Posted by David Gallardo

muller_359smallDestination weddings are always fun! At Tropical Imaging we love meeting people from different places and cultures but sometimes we photograph weddings for friends and people that we know from the islands.

It’s always great when you are  photographing a wedding and you know almost everyone: this is what happened when we photographed the wedding of Bradey and Bob. Both of them met on Provo and after a few years together they tied the knot in Las Vegas. However, because this was a small wedding, they decided to do it again back home – this time with all their family and friends. Over two hundred people attended their beach wedding. This was a very fun wedding to photograph – the ceremony took place on Grace Bay beach under a clear blue sky.

Ashleigh & J.P’s Wedding Video

Posted by Preston Dickenson

videocam150We often talk about photos on our blog but we don’t often feature videos. Part of the reason is that video takes longer to edit then stills, so we post the photos on our blog first rather than the video in order to show the wedding as soon as possible.

But our videos are worth seeing too! :-) so from now on we will be uploading the short version of some of our videos so that you can see this side of our work.

Let’s start with Ashleigh & J.P’s wedding, which is a great example of the new style of video that we are making which brings together stills, video of the ceremony, and the voices of the bride & groom to tell the story of the day.

Jana & Juan get married!

Posted by Kellie Hayes

Last week Jana & Juan decided to “tie the knot” a little different here in Providenciales. While most couples opt for the beautiful beaches of Grace Bay, they chose to get married at the Catholic Church on Leeward Highway here in Turks & Caicos.

Gary and his Limousine chauffeured Jana and the girls to the church for a 3:00 pm ceremony, with everyone anxiously waiting, Jana looked gorgeous as she walked through the door arm in arm with Mum and Dad. After the blessings from Father Peter, it was time for photos back at Turtle Beach Villa where they were staying. Read the rest of this entry »
