The Wedding of Shannon and Greg

“Let’s make a deal: you can do everything you want but on our wedding day you have to smile and pose for a few pictures”. I’m not sure if Greg took Shannon’s words for gold or if he was extremely happy and simply could never stop smiling. The beautiful couple got married on January 30th 2009 on the pristine beach of Villa Renaissance, joined by their closest family and friends.
The excellent planning of Diane, from Island Harmony, the perfect weather, the friendly guests and, of course, the wonderful couple, made this wedding memorable. The blue theme matched the bridesmaids’ dresses, as well as the resort windows, the flowers, the decorations and a luminous sky – could you really ask for more?
Once the long train was reduced to fit a destination wedding on the beach, the dress was pure perfection
Sometimes I like to put my bride in an uncomfortable situation to get the best from her. Shannon “rolling on the bed” made an interesting story to share during the reception
In the meantime David was photographing the lucky groom
Who painted the sky?
After a few traditional photos the bridal party was called to the scene
Greg’s sisters and football buddies were teasing him a little during the romantic shoot… genuine jealousy?!?
The reception was hosted at Las Brisas, an amazing restaurant facing Chalk Sound, a local, gorgeous, “hot spot”
I love this shot, it was completely spontaneous!

Love the blog and the pictures! It described the day perfectly, and the beautiful couple. I may be a little biased since the bride is my sister! We had such a wonderful time and Ileana and David were WONDERFUL!!! Thanks so much for really capturing this special day! I have tears in my eyes as I write this!

You caught the day beautifully as we all saw it. As the mother of the bride, I wanted her day to be absolutely perfect. Not a moment went by that my daughter and Greg did not have the biggest smile on their faces! Thank you so much for capturing all the special moments for a couple that is obviously very much in love. The camera said it all!

The wedding day started with a rainbow, proceeded with clear blue skies. I have never seen Shannon as happy as that day. You truly captured the happiness and love of Shannon and Greg.

Beautiful day, beautiful place, beautiful couple. Who could ask for anything more. The pictures were all gorgeous and the happiness of the day was truly evident in every shot.
