Family fun at the new Gansevoort Resort, Turks & Caicos

On the recommendation of another family I photographed a few months back, Renee and Jon ask us to come over to the new Gansevoort resort to help capture their wonderful vacation at this brand new resort. We actually think they were the fist people to EVER stay in their room! After a weather delay, we actually ended up shooting the session early in the morning. Whilst this is a little harder it does give you some amazing colors!
The Gansevoort has a wonderful open plan lobby area. As soon as you arrive you can see over the pool and straight to the ocean. From a photographer’s perspective that means wonderful light

It did take a little while to coax the youngest Kate out!

But with mom and dad showing the way…

She was soon all smiles !!

Super light !!

We have takeoff !

The light is a little harsh on the beach in the morning, but you make up for it with great colors!

Sand between the toes before 9am – this is the life!

“everyone jump on dad” – love it.

We are having “pictures” done?? Really?? Don’t think she cared much at this point !!

As always a big thank you to the whole family for a great time It was a wonderful way to start the day!

So now this Riis family has a whole new career promoting health and happiness in tropical venues! Bravo to Andy for capturing this wonder. We’re now converts to “family values”. Thanks for sharing. Love, the Gruncles, Michael and James.
