Anne & Mike’s First Anniversary

Anne and Mike were married in Turks & Caicos a year ago this week – and decided to spend their one-year anniversary at The Sands on Grace Bay, where they got married.

As part of their celebrations I met with them for an anniversary photo-session – something that we offer to all our wedding clients free of charge!

The Sands has some attractive gardens so we took the opportunity to get a few shots there before heading to the beach…

Although it had been Kellie rather than myself who photographed their wedding last year, we soon got to know each other and the shoot was a lot of fun! And you can tell from the big smile on Mike’s face that married life is treating him well!

To get this shot I went up to the top of the staircase (third floor) on one of the buildings and had Mike and Anne pose down below:

Another cool “moment” – we do some posing to help people look their best, but sometimes the “candid” shots are good too!

There were some thunderclouds around, but they just made the sunset sky even more dramatic!
