Kevin and Maria.

Posted by Anita Marcus

Baker-0225bwwfirstKevin and Maria got married last Monday at the gorgeous Somerset resort. Preston, our cinematographer, and myself went to meet the couple to discuss the last details of their wedding. Some of the most important photos to them at their wedding, they told us, were the ones with the sunset. No problem… well most of the time.

On their wedding day as soon as the sun was almost ready to set, this huge cloud came over, heavy with rain, and we all had to run off the beach. It was sort of great timing still, because it was dry for the whole of the ceremony and the family photos.

But if you are hoping for some romantic sunset shots, that was not going to happen… or at least not that day. So we decided to give it another try the next day. Kevin put on his suit again and Maria her dress and off we went on our sunset photo session. We got them!!!! but man did we have to be quick again, we got about a few minutes more than the day before until we, yes, had to hide again for the rain. Read the rest of this entry »

Posted by Ileana Ravasio

Swann_380rcOne thing is certain: now that Jason married Nichole his life will never have a dull moment ever again. Mrs Swann has the energy and wonderful attitude of 10 kids during a chocolate party, as well as a big heart completely committed to her beloved.

The couple got married on the beach of  Villa Paprika surrounded by the closest family and friends. No stress, panic or worries were invited and the celebration exploded in a big fun party. Read the rest of this entry »

The Brenny Family

Posted by David Gallardo

Brenny_024smallAfter a few busy weekends photographing weddings it was nice to get the chance to photograph a family portrait on the beach.

Most of our portrait sessions are normally in the afternoon about an hour before sunset but sometimes small kids are better in the morning and that is why on June 15th I met with Mike and his wife Nicole and both of their kids Madicyn and Nolan at 7:30 am at Coral Gardens.

We first started taking photos around the gardens for a few minutes then continued on Grace Bay beach where I had a great time photographing everyone. Madicyn had a blast playing with her younger brother Nolen and she really enjoyed running on the beach. At the end everyone got into the water.

The Wedding of Cindy & Felix at The Regent Palms

Posted by Ileana Ravasio

Jenkins_241KPZIIHow can we ever get tired of shooting weddings when brides and grooms surprise us with lots of details, special touches, unique traditions and always a reason to smile?!?

The wedding of Cindy and Felix, hosted at The Regent Palms, was truly extraordinary and beautiful – I’m sure choosing decorations, music, prayers, gowns, food and much more took a lot of time and passion…. every effort was so worth it. Read the rest of this entry »

July 18th 2009.

Posted by Anita Marcus

Simmons-027firstThat is the day for Caulette and Gervin. They are getting married right here in Providenciales and it will be a big one.

I met this absolutely lovely couple….and very giggly… yes you Caulette :)   last week at Caulette’s uncle’s house in the Sapodilla Bay area. The house is beautiful so we started off with some photos around the house and then the three of us walked towards Sapodilla Bay beach.

There is this little gazebo right at the end of the rock, I have no idea if anything ever happened in this gazebo, but it is a very special place for Caulette. She spent lots of time sitting there as a kid looking out over the water. It is a gorgeous spot, needless to say that we decided to make the climb to the gazebo for some photos (sorry Gervin).

The Anderson Family on vacation.

Posted by Anita Marcus

Anderson-002Kellie and myself were all set up to shoot the Andersons ( with our cameras of course). Just before we went over, the weather did not look that great. We decided to move the photo shoot to later that week only to get the best photos with the best lighting. It turned out to be the right decision and the light was fantastic.

The King Family

Posted by David Gallardo

King_097smallThis was their second photo session with us and for this one they decided to do our Beach Escape photo package.

On June 11th I picked them up at the Alexandra Resort and we drove around the island for about two hours. The great thing about this photo shoot is that you get the chance to see some of the island and have photos taken in different locations.

For the first part we went to Blue Hills where we took some photos with some colorful local buildings and we ended on the secluded beach of Taylor Bay located on the south side of Providenciales.

Beautifully Simple at Parrot Cay

Posted by Kellie Hayes

IMRE_SM

Last week I met Beatrix and Istvan, a relaxed, friendly, outgoing couple who hired us to capture their beautifully simple, elegant wedding.

I had arrived on Parrot Cay at 3:30pm and was waiting in the library when Beatrix and Istvan found me, their wedding was scheduled for 6 pm so we had some time before the ceremony. We chatted for a bit and decided that we should take a few photos down on the beach. Seeing that it was just the 2 of them, we all decided the ceremony could start when they were ready.   Read the rest of this entry »

The Nicholls at Royal West Indies

Nicholls_SM

Show them how BIG she’s getting!  Simon, Rosie and Daisy live here in Turks and Caicos and what better way than a photo session to show family and friends back home how fast the little one is growing.

Living on a small island unique gifts are a little hard to come by, t-shirts and key chains have all been done before, so when the Nicholls received a gift certificate for a portrait session they were ecstatic, right Rosie :)Read the rest of this entry »

Tanya & Paul get married at Nikki Beach

Posted by Kellie Hayes

Gordon_SMI first met Tanya and Paul last October, they came to Provo to make sure this is exactly where they wanted to have their wedding. After  getting some details of what they wanted covered we decided to take a few photos around Nikki Beach to give them an idea of what to expect. Tanya & Paul were great fun, they had no problems getting in the water and laying on the beach, in fact I think it was their idea.   Tanya must have already had a plan, they used a few of the engagement photos in the program for the wedding, the turquoise dress she wore was the theme colour for the Wedding details. Love it!

Fast forward to May. Read the rest of this entry »
