9 years ago Stanley left Nigeria to pursue his medical career and… find the love of his life. The courtship and the official presentations had some challenges but every effort was worth it: on July 29th Melinda became officially Mrs Okosun.

Wikipedia defines Pole Dancing a sport and a form of performing art, a combination of dancing and gymnastics. It’s getting more and more popular every day and it’s reached the Turks and Caicos Islands too.
About an hour before the wedding I got a call from NILA Destinations – the groom was running a little late – he was currently sitting in the Doctor’s office on an IV drip and under doctor’s orders to “rest”…..but the wedding was going ahead – he hoped… It’s moments like this that define people. Would the bride be OK? I could only imagine what state Alison might be in. Clearly this wasn’t going to be a “run of the mill” wedding – it was going to need flexibility, “thinking on our feet” and a delicate touch. If you are even thinking about have a wedding WITHOUT a planner or other professionals – this is exactly why you need them!
Photographing a wedding is a great responsibility: you can’t go back the day after asking for the replay of such a special day. We check the weather, make a plan, feel the “butterflies” in our stomach right before every wedding – it’s not “just a job”, it’s passion, love, continuous training and professionalism.
