Doing more than we should – it’s fun!

Sanchez_frntSonia had been in email contact with us before they arrived in Turks and Caicos and had already “traded up” from a basic photo shoot at the resort to a shoot at a more remote and private beach.

While the beach in front of most of the resorts in Turks and Caicos cannot be described as “busy”, using one of our “secret” locations always adds a little extra something.

However chatting with them I discovered that they had not really had a chance to “see” the island so far – so we made a plan to add in some “local “attractions along the way – we call this our “Island Escape”. Now don’t tell anyone I did this because we are supposed to charge more for this!

Sonia was concerned (as most parents are) that Joaquin would take a while to warm up and smile with someone new. However as soon as he heard the local music coming from the Conch Shack he started dancing and smiling away !!! This was going to be fun!

With so many conch shells lying around is was heaven – lots of things to pick up and play with.

I’m not sure who is happier??

Then it was a short ten-minute drive (everywhere is ten minutes on Provo) and we were at the beach. It was just us!!

Always a favorite.

The details matter and are great for albums or even a big picture on the wall.

There was simply no sitting still going on by this point – having too much fun – so we waited for the right opportunity to capture this family sunset moment.

A closer angle a few minutes later – I don’t think Sonia needed to be worried about getting great smiles from Joaquin!

A wonderful evening with a delightful family.
