Ten ways to “pop the question” in Turks and Caicos.

Well summer is virtually over in the US and the autumn/winter season always brings on a flurry of proposals.
It’s also not uncommon for us to hear that the reason why many brides choose the Turks and Caicos for their wedding was that they had previously been on vacation here or were proposed to in the TCI – so we thought we’d give the guys a helping hand with some ideas.
Enjoy!
So not in order of priority….
1. Charter a private boat for a day or half day and have the ultimate romantic lunch on a deserted cay – just the two of you. Companies can supply the umbrella, snorkel gear, lunch – everything!! – you bring those new swimsuits and the ring!

2. Underwater at west caicos! One of the best diving sites in the world – a wall with a vertical drop of 6,000ft, but lots of sandy areas under the boat where you can pull out the ring !! We’ve seen it done – cool….(OK you need to be certified for this one!!)

3. A private sunset cruise on a sailing catamaran – sail offshore from your resort as the sun goes down with champagne and snacks – perfect.

4. Strolling down the huge beach on the private island of Pine Cay – guaranteed to be just the two of you for miles around.

5. Amanyara private villa. A room at any of the resorts in TCI will be fab, but your own villa at Amanyara will be above and beyond anything she expects!

6. A romantic, private beach dinner on Grace Bay beach with your own butler, tiki torches – right at the water’s edge as the sun goes down

7. Go active – book a day of ATV tours, para-sailing, water skiing, golf, horse back riding and if still conscious – propose!

8. Dinner at any of the amazing and totally romantic top restaurants in Turks and Caicos – Coco Bistro, O’soleil, Coyaba to name a few.

9 and 10 ??
Well we thought we’d leave those for you to fill in? What are your ideas? Did you get engaged in Turks? How? Share your ideas?
So we hope that helps – give us a call or email or facebook – whilst we don’t book these things we know the people who do !!!!
Happy to help you and congratulations if you pop the question!
