Froggie’s Ultimate ATV Tours.

Posted by Anita Marcus

Froggie-006-firstI have heard people say that there is not much to do here on the islands. I never ever got that. Really…… you mean besides diving, snorkeling, fishing, island hopping, horse back riding, snuba, going on a submarine, renting a scooter, wake boarding, tubing, kite surfing, taking walks on the beach, going to the cinema, doing a photo shoot with us :) kart racing, miniature golf, doing all kinds of sports ( well okay… except for ice hockey, but we could even do that here, if someone would freeze the sports center ) So take your pick and more. Andie and Nick’s honeymoon.

Posted by Anita Marcus

ray-025firstLast Friday I hopped on the ferry to North Caicos to meet up with Andie and Nick. They picked me up from the marina in North Caicos and off we went on our island tour. We drove from North Caicos to Middle Caicos and our first stop was at Mudjin Harbour with its spectacular coast lines, pretty secluded and a start for endless walks. Andie and Nick were up for anything, so right after starting their honeymoon photo shoot we got into the waves already. From there we visited the Indian Cave and with the light coming through from above we got some amazing shots. We had way too much fun everywhere, so much even that by this time I already missed my ferry back to Providenciales :)

Cassandre and Rodney.

Posted by Anita Marcus

lavard-114f1firstRodney grew up here in the islands before he made a move to the States. Of course he loves his homeland and when he met Cassandre he could not wait to show the islands off to her. Now it is an even more special place for the both of them, because a couple of years ago Rodney asked Cassandre to marry him and he did so right here on the Provo Golf Course.

This time they were both here for the Caribbean Amateur Golf Championship 2009, and I got some of their spare time to take some engagement photos. Besides taking some photos on the Golf Course we decided to hook up at the Gansevoort-Wymara where they are going to get married in October this year. The beach is amazing, white sand, sea oats and blue ocean. I loved Cassandre’s blue dress, it pops on the beach. ( thanks Cassandre’s mom ) Read the rest of this entry »

Posted by Anita Marcus

Wesloh-217firsttrashthedressAs promised here are some of the photos the day after Nikki and Tim’s wedding on Leeward Beach. This was so much fun for all of us. Nikki and Tim were running in the water, rolling around in the sand and more…

I really hope lots of brides will decide to just go crazy with their dresses. Actually I might jump in myself next time :)

Thank you so much Nikki and Tim, your wedding and the following day was a blast and I wish you both all the happiness in your lifes together.

Nikki and Tim Part 1.

Posted by Anita Marcus

Wesloh-030firstweddingNikki and Tim back together again! What a great story. This couple was married before, about 6 years ago…yes to each other. They separated, run into each other years later, and fell completely in love with each other again. How romantic.

Nikki also wanted to get as much use out of her dress as possible while here. I loved her idea. You can do two things with your wedding dress. Hang it in your closet inside a plastic bag and stare at it for the next 20 years while it is collecting dust…..or hey are you really ever going to wear it again? Exactly! So why not have some fun with it the day after your wedding and of course some different photos to go with it. So look out for Nikki and Tim Part 2 for some “Trashing the dress” photos. Caulette and Gervin’s Wedding.

Posted by Anita Marcus

Simmons-263firstYou probably remember Caulette and Gervin from their engagement shoot I published earlier on our blog. Well they are married now and what a perfect wedding day that turned out to be. Everything was planned with so much detail and the whole day was so relaxed, it was off the charts. The gowns of the bridesmaids, the matching flowers, the make up, the hair and not to forget the guys all in suits with hat and gloves. So stylish. The guys were even wearing one glove most of the time as respect to Michael Jackson.

After the beautiful ceremony in Blue Hills the party continued in Opus and with way over 200 guests, everything went so smoothly that the only thing everybody was thinking about was to have a great time. And they can party…. The speeches were hilareous, others more heartfelt and emotional. Also there was definitely some competition going on between the wedding guests of the different islands of the Turks and Caicos……. and of course the loudest group got the most attention. I think Salt Cay, for such a small island, was not going unnoticed :) Read the rest of this entry »

Lori and Robert.

Posted by Anita Marcus

argento-080bwwloLori and Robert got married in their home town New York. For their honeymoon they came over here, to  the Turks and Caicos Islands. They both loved the idea of wedding photos on the beach but they also love their home town. What to do, decisions, decisions.

So for everybody that is faced with this dilemma here is the great idea Lori and Robert came up with. They got married in their home town, flew to Caribbean with the two of them for their honeymoon, brought the wedding dress, dressed up and had pictures taken on the beach. Both wishes packed into one perfect wedding.

Estelle

Posted by Anita Marcus

Carstens-036firstI got Estelle to finally do a photo shoot with us. Estelle who works for Nila Destinations as a wedding and event planner and she is a great personal friend of mine. She is also a girl that absolutely does not like to have her picture taken. Why? I have no idea, it is not because she is shy :)

I also know already that she is going to yell at me for putting her photos on our blog, but hey. Now before you go home next week to South Africa, your boyfriend can already see some of you :)

Two Turks and Caicos Island officers.

Posted by Anita Marcus

selver-075firstBrandi a police officer and Kemeo a customs officer for the Turks and Caicos Islands are planning their wedding. I had the great opportunity to take some engagement photos with them.

When I met Brandi and Kemeo, Brandi looked a little worried, actually no… she was very worried about her dress. Some makeup somehow transferred to her beautiful dress in the back. I assured her not to worry, not all photos will be from the back and if we can see it we can take it out. We took some champagne to the beach, said thank you to the people that congratulated them, thinking they got married already. Read the rest of this entry »
