Over a month a go we started a great commercial photography project with Horizon Construction.

This company has been on the island for quite a few years and does some amazing building work, from high end resorts to private villas and some incredible interior  finishing.

Some of the projects we photographed so far for this company are the Seven Stars, TPR realty, The Venetian, The katan Residence and the Horizon office.

The Fashion show at The Somerset Resort, Turks and Caicos

This is the third year we have helped the Somerset resort with its annual fashion show or “Fashionation”. With all local models, local designers, local makeup artists and the Somerset itself, its amazing what they are able to produce in a busy event and party season.

At the last count their were at least four other events all happening last Saturday evening- which for an island the size of Provo is a lot! It was a great show and even had a few cameo appearances from the Somerset team too!

Well done to Karen, Monique, Courtney and everyone else.

The new Destination Turks & Caicos Book is here!

Finally the new 2009/2010 Destination Turks & Caicos Book is here! and we are very proud to be the official photographers of it.

This is a coffee table book size guide that goes to all the hotel rooms in the Turks & Caicos Islands and it is designed for tourist to keep and share with family and friends back to their home countries.

Some of the contents of the Destination Turks & Caicos book  are history of the islands, activities, culture and arts, shopping… and special attention to the people that  that lives on this beautiful country.

Wrightfully Fit Fitness Center

I still remember when the Erebus gym located at the Miramar resort was one of the very few gyms in Providenciales where you could work out. It wasn’t a very fancy place then but it was great for an island without that many people.

After a few years and a few companies running the place finally John Wright decided to open a top notch professional gym like the ones you can find in any big city.

John Wright’s goal is to offer a fitness center where their members can find their own inner strengths and achieve their personal goals.

John’s experience in the health, and fitness and wellness fields spans well over 17 years as a professional football player, health and fitness expert, gym owner and personal trainer.

Yoga and Cardio at Rock it Hot Fitness, Turks & Caicos

Everybody nowadays want a perfect body: fit, beautiful, healthy… simply hot! Luckily in Provo we have the chance to have some amazing instructors to keep our bodies and spirits in perfect shape. I loved photographing Jo and David, from Rock it Hot Fitness – trying to capture in a single image the essence of who they are was an interesting challenge…

I met Jo and Natasha (the studio owner) at 7:30am on Sunday morning (what happened to days off?!?) – despite Jo’s hesitation to be in front of the camera in skimpy clothes, the results were excellent – her perfect form and muscle definition easily got me the shots I was looking for. Air Turks & Caicos

Air Turks & Caicos is the leading airline in the Turks & Caicos islands with domestic and international flights to places like the Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Haiti and Jamaica.

A few weeks ago Andy, Preston and I did some photography and cinematography showing the behind-the-scenes of this great airline with the different operations and staff that makes everything possible.

It was great to see how many people are involved to make an airline run perfectly, from the sales office to the customer center, maintenance crew, flight attendants, operations and of course the pilots.

Miss Turks and Caicos Photo shoot and behind the scenes video

For the last 3 or even 4 years we have been delighted to help the Turks and Caicos Tourist Board with a photo shoot of the contestants for Miss Turks and Caicos (or Miss Earth TCI – I think it is this year?).

We do it for free, it’s fun and the girls are great to work with. This year it’s a little more low-key (naturally) so it was just a quick two-hour shoot near our studio and on Grace Bay Beach.

Turtle Breeze Villa

Recently we had the opportunity to photograph one of the most beautiful and impressive villas you can find in the islands.

Turtle Breeze Villa is located on Grace Bay next to Smith’s Reef one of the best snorkeling spots in the area. It doesn’t look too big from the outside but once you go though the main entrance you discover a secluded architectural dream.

With two big swimming pools, five bedrooms, one guest house, a pool bar/barbecue, one media room, a kitchen with an incredible view of Grace Bay, a big dining area and  open lunch area will make this villa a perfect location for a great vacation.

The Wedding of Jennifer and Nathan

Not just a wedding but a celebration of life and love, a perfect mix of cultures and traditions, a lot of fun and some emotional tears. Jennifer and Nathan chose the Turks and Caicos to pronounce their “I do” and 60 relatives and friends gladly joined them for a great week-end.

The wedding took place at the beautiful Regent Palms and it was a true success thanks to the expertise and organization of Suzanne, the bride’s sister, and Suzie, the resort event planner.

Corporate Headshots – not just another head and shoulders..

We recently received a call from the Hartling Group to shoot an updated corporate head shot for the founder and CEO Stan Hartling. We have had a long and wonderful relationship with the Hartling Group starting with the Sands Resort, then the Regent Palms and now with their new development the Shore Club.
