It’s a question we get asked quite often - maybe more often than you would imagine given our location in the “sunny Caribbean”. On this particular day last week - it was throwing it down. There were puddles all around the pool deck and the outlook was grim. Oh yes and the power to the villa had just cut off just before I arrived for the shoot….

More than 400 people received a beautiful invitation, delivered with white gloves, to attend Aisha and Jermaine’s wedding… style, elegance, romance, beauty and love will join hands for one of the biggest wedding of the year.
I had the chance to spend half an hour with this lovely couple and capture some precious images of their wonderful relation.

We’ve had some thunderstorms this week, a few cloudy days and some showers - but on Tuesday night the weather turned to our advantage as the clouds gave us an amazing sunset!
I was shooting a portrait session at The Sands with Jeremy and Mallorie from Kansas City. They came to Turks & Caicos to attend Jamal and Merili’s wedding (of which more in a few days!), but Jeremy decided to surprise Mallorie with a sunset beach portrait session of their own. The wedding bells are ringing for Amy and Mike! They will get married at The Regent Palms on October 18th 2008, and in view of the big day they grabbed the offer of shooting some romantic pictures together.
Mike has been coming to the Turks and Caicos Islands with his parents since he was a kid - he saw Providenciales growing and changing, and chose the island to officially unite his life with Amy.

Esther and Matthew met each other in college and are planning their wedding for next year May. They decided to have some engagement photos taken and selected our Beach Escape Package. We went down to Blue Hills to the very colorful buildings of Sailing Paradise, a cute little local bar/restaurant. All the different colors make the photos very Caribbean and stand out. Debbie and Mark are getting married this June. Before I am going to take the pictures at their wedding, we all decided it would be a great idea to get to know each other a little better and do a little photo shoot at the same time with their kids as well. Their wedding is going to be held right here in Providenciales and it is going to be a big event since they both live here and know everybody. The photo shoot was a blast! The location was the beach by The Sands Resort on Grace Bay - the time was an hour before sunset - and the occasion was the tenth-anniversary Renewal of Vows for Pamela and Jeffery from Massachusetts - accompanied by their children Abigail and Trevor.

It was a grey and windy day last week when we helped Carmela and Paul with some engagement shots. Despite the uncharacteristic Caribbean weather we were able to conjure up some great images, and Carmela and Paul’s own electricity certainly helped “heat things up”….
