The other fabulous wedding that I did last month was for Brook and Shernelle. A wonderful couple from the TCI, they had a gorgeous wedding with around 400 people….For us it’s a great contrast to the many smaller destination weddings that we do that are typically 40-75 people.

Finally, after two hurricanes, a trip to the UK, USA and vacations I can now finally post two great weddings we did last month. The power is back on! The internet is now back on!
This wedding was at the Somerset Resort. Kelly and Dion had planned a really special wedding, lots of great details, a wonderful group of friends and family. It turned out just “perfect”.

As you have all heard by now, the Turks and Caicos Islands got hit by two hurricanes in the space of two weeks, with Hanna visiting us twice actually. We all feel very lucky on Providenciales because the effect on this island was minimal compared to some of the other islands. Our best wishes go out to them. Brendan and Anna were also very lucky getting married on Saturday the 31st of August and not on the Sunday after because there would have been no way I could have gotten any sunny photos. Brendan’s family is from the States and Anna’s family is from Russia.

Timekah and Chris Sessoms got married on the beautiful lawn of the Somerset Resort , Providenciales, on August 16th… I’m a little late posting this article but this gorgeous and fun couple deserve a space on our blog page.
Tropical Storm Faye was close by but luckily the weather cleared up to let the celebration begin. After a special ceremony, a cocktail party and a delicious dinner every guest danced the night away - wow, that was a party!

So many people got married all over the world on 08/08/08! Kellie and I were extremely lucky to capture Krystle and Steve’s wedding - young, fun, colorful, beautiful and unique.
The ceremony took place on Grace Bay beach, in front of the Royal West Indies resort, and the reception followed at Mango Reef - the lobster season just re-opened for a perfect Surf and Turf!

Is the power of love able to chase away a hurricane?!? I don’t know the answer but the rain and wind stopped just a few minutes before the wedding… Lise and Tibor live on-island and they must know the secret as they got married on August 15th in the garden area of the beautiful Villa Oasis, in Grace Bay Beach, Providenciales, blessed by the warm rays of the sun.

Richie and Cleo’s wedding day made a lot of people a little nervous. Hurricane Faye was moving around the Caribbean and on the morning of their wedding day it looked as if Faye was going to be their wedding crasher. I was wondering if this was going to be my first wedding where everything had to be moved in doors.

Sebastian and Rachel got married in the Regent Palms here in Providenciales. They visited the islands a few times before to make absolutely sure that the Turks and Caicos was the perfect place for their wedding. Their family and friends came from all over the globe to celebrate their special day with them. They were ready to party that is for sure.

On August 1st Sarah and Adam got married at villa Palermo. Around twenty family members and friends came to Turks & Caicos to celebrate this very special day with them.
The ceremony took place next to the villa’s swimming-pool surrounded by the turquoise water of the south side of Providenciales. For the end of the photography we did some really fun photos with Sarah and Adam and all the wedding party. Read the rest of this entry »

Destination Weddings are becoming very popular but if you are lucky enough to live in the Turks and Caicos there is no reason to travel in search of the perfect spot. Rebecca and Chris pronounced their vows in the stunning courtyard of their friends’ private villa - their closest family and friends attended the ceremony, but for the party time the doors open to a lively crowd of unique people.
