Family Time!

Posted by David Gallardo

Sangster_004smallAfter two weddings, boat trips, rehearsal dinners, and a few busy weeks with lots of planing for the Sangster and the Pollon families they decided to have one family portrait just before everyone gets back to home countries.

It was fun and easy for Chris and I because we already knew everyone from all the previous events we had already done with all of them and it was great to see everyone so relaxed and having such a great time.

For the start of the photo shoot we took some photos around the Ocean Club West Resort and we continued on a very quiet Grace Bay beach where all enjoyed another great sunny afternoon.

Kristen and Tamir’s engagement session.

Posted by Andy Mann

Tamir0074frntWhat a fabulous couple. A few days ago I sat down and chatted with Kristen and Tamir about their wedding next May. It was great that they could spend a few days down in the Turks and Caicos planning their wedding with the help of Diane from Island Harmony. Such visits make all the difference – it gives couples such a peace of mind to have seen everything. It was then delightful to meet up with them again a couple of hours later to do a small shoot on the beach.

Tropical Imaging signs agreement with Extreme Music.

Posted by Andy Mann

Tubridy_495We are so excited that we’ll finally been able to work out an agreement with probably the best music production sources available anywhere. Finding the right music for our projects has always been a challenge. We want to be legal and not use regular music, but at the same time cannot stand budget quality “elevator music” that is available “royalty free”. We think we’ve found the perfect solution….

The wedding of Kirsty and Ben Pollon

Posted by David Gallardo

Pollon_254smallFrom the first time I met with Kirsty and Ben at our office I knew this was going to be a very fun wedding to photograph and especially knowing that lots of people that I know on the island were attending their wedding.

Kirsty and Ben met while working on a private yacht and they decided to celebrate their wedding in the Turks & Caicos because Ben grew up in the islands and his family and lots of his friends are still living here.

The wedding ceremony took place on the beautiful property of Dawn Beach House located at the end of Grace Bay beach. After the wedding ceremony and some family photos at the beach everyone went to the

Magnolia wine bar and restaurant for the wedding reception.

Andie and Nick’s honeymoon.

Posted by Anita Marcus

ray-025firstLast Friday I hopped on the ferry to North Caicos to meet up with Andie and Nick. They picked me up from the marina in North Caicos and off we went on our island tour. We drove from North Caicos to Middle Caicos and our first stop was at Mudjin Harbour with its spectacular coast lines, pretty secluded and a start for endless walks. Andie and Nick were up for anything, so right after starting their honeymoon photo shoot we got into the waves already. From there we visited the Indian Cave and with the light coming through from above we got some amazing shots. We had way too much fun everywhere, so much even that by this time I already missed my ferry back to Providenciales :)

Wrightfully Fit Fitness Center

Posted by David Gallardo

Wrightfully_Fit_059smallI still remember when the Erebus gym located at the Miramar resort was one of the very few gyms in Providenciales where you could work out. It wasn’t a very fancy place then but it was great for an island without that many people.

After a few years and a few companies running the place finally John Wright decided to open a top notch professional gym like the ones you can find in any big city.

John Wright’s goal is to offer a fitness center where their members can find their own inner strengths and achieve their personal goals.

John’s experience in the health, and fitness and wellness fields spans well over 17 years as a professional football player, health and fitness expert, gym owner and personal trainer.

Yoga and Cardio at Rock it Hot Fitness, Turks & Caicos

Posted by Ileana Ravasio

Jo_selected_008Everybody nowadays want a perfect body: fit, beautiful, healthy… simply hot! Luckily in Provo we have the chance to have some amazing instructors to keep our bodies and spirits in perfect shape. I loved photographing Jo and David, from Rock it Hot Fitness – trying to capture in a single image the essence of who they are was an interesting challenge…

I met Jo and Natasha (the studio owner) at 7:30am on Sunday morning (what happened to days off?!?) – despite Jo’s hesitation to be in front of the camera in skimpy clothes, the results were excellent – her perfect form and muscle definition easily got me the shots I was looking for. It’s your dream wedding in Turks and Caicos

Posted by Ileana Ravasio

Gitzen_181der_cropElizabeth and Dan got married a year ago in Virginia, a big celebration with family and friends. But their dream wedding has always been to elope to an exotic location and exchange their wedding-bands barefoot on the beach… so they flew to the Turks and Caicos and renewed their vows to fulfil their wish.

For this special occasion we chose to take the couple on a private “Island Escape” and create a series of stunning pictures worthy of a travel magazine.

Cassandre and Rodney.

Posted by Anita Marcus

lavard-114f1firstRodney grew up here in the islands before he made a move to the States. Of course he loves his homeland and when he met Cassandre he could not wait to show the islands off to her. Now it is an even more special place for the both of them, because a couple of years ago Rodney asked Cassandre to marry him and he did so right here on the Provo Golf Course.

This time they were both here for the Caribbean Amateur Golf Championship 2009, and I got some of their spare time to take some engagement photos. Besides taking some photos on the Golf Course we decided to hook up at the Gansevoort-Wymara where they are going to get married in October this year. The beach is amazing, white sand, sea oats and blue ocean. I loved Cassandre’s blue dress, it pops on the beach. ( thanks Cassandre’s mom ) Read the rest of this entry »
